1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of Cody for Shopify, provided by Codemaker-S ("we", "us", "our"). By using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service

Cody for Shopify provides software, documentation, and support for building and operating Shopify apps. The service is provided on an availability basis and may be updated or changed over time.

3. Account and responsibilities

• You are responsible for account security, API keys, and access management.
• You must use the service in compliance with applicable laws and Shopify terms.
• You remain responsible for your store content, settings, and actions.

4. Fees and payment

If paid plans or paid features apply, fees and billing terms are those communicated at the time of purchase. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5. Intellectual property

All rights to the service, source code, documentation, and branding remain with Codemaker-S or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during lawful use.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify features, infrastructure, or support where reasonably necessary for quality, security, or operations.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits or data.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access in case of misuse, unlawful activity, or breach of these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
